Ok. That's that series over with. There is so much damned detail in these books that is really hard to keep up sometimes and to break down all the things that are happening.
I love the characters and enjoy the storyline, but the detail is a little overwhelming.
This is the final instalment in the trilogy and we get some long await answers about what the Book of Life actually contains, and why the witches, daemons and vamps want it so much. Honestly though, I was little disappointed once t
he revelation was made. Maybe because so much was going, I'm not sure, but it wasn't the big "oh my god" moment I was expecting.
This one had so much going on, just like the other books, but there were definitely alot of answers given as well.
I don't want to ruin things for anybody, but alot of things do get wrapped up nicely with this one.
There is definitley the potential for some spin-off books after this series though, I would particularly love to read more about Phillipe and Ysabeau, Gallowglass, Jack and Marcus and Phoebe.
If you've read the other two books in the series, definitely see it through and read this one. It takes time and is a lot to digest but its still got a great storyline.
