Costa said Polchinski took a shot at her, and Polchinski did have a recently fired .45 in his hands.” Abbie shook her head. “That’s also all he had on him. No cell phone, nothing else. According to Irving, his mother saw him for the first time in three weeks this morning, and all he had with him when he showed up at her doorstep at five in the morning was the .45.
